Wow, this is so good, I'm going to use this for future reference! (if you don't mind, of course). People with any real concept of anatomy are pretty hard to find... this is really something to be proud of. It even has a da Vinci-esque feel to it! Couldn't get very much better!

No, I don't mind. Anatomy (especially the muscles) can be difficult, so if I can be of any help, that's fine with me! Albinus' etchings are also a great reference, if you want. I think Da Vinci is great, so THANKS for that. I'm flattered!

Ooh, I love Albinus' skeletons! That's all I've seen of his works (I've had no artistic education whatsoever so I'm still in the dark about a lot of things). And everyone knows Da Vinci. I've started experimenting with anatomy and I've been using his sketches for inspiration, which have been really helpful. And thanks for allowing me to use your stuff as a reference, I won't copy it! I just need a better idea of where muscles are located, since I've been having trouble with shoulders and arms. And legs... I need to learn more about art in general anyways. That's why I'm here... but I'm dissapointed by the lack of real artists here, and I've seen way too many people here for no reason at all except to get pageviews. And there's too much digital art here, too. Most people wouldn't be able to get anywhere near to holding a candle to you or elachrym. Here I go again, ranting about everything... I need to get some more sleep...

Well, thanks! I do appreciate your compliments. Albinus is really a good reference. You can get some pretty inexpensive, but comprehensive books of his work. They go through all the muscle layers, all the way down to the bones, and they have amusing pictures of flayed animals (ie. a rhinoceros). You might want to check him out and Da Vinci is always an excellent reference for everything - he's just that good! Also, a 3D sculpture or something that you can look at all the way around is especially helpful for bringing everything together.

Great! I'll try ordering some books off Amazon by Albinus. I found some cool pictures by him online, and they seem pretty in-depth and clear, so that'll be really useful! Again, thanks a lot!
