Personally I think this needs a tad more work.
1) The shape of it is a bit weird. speech bubbles are generally more circular with a triangle coming off to the bottom. This looks more like a { or a condom >.>
2) I'm not sure really what the purpose of the white is since it is cut off at the side and wont be behind the text. Personally i think it would look better if it was just the outline and a transparent inside.

.... written 18 months ago. It was my views at the time. Since that time, my views and the deviation may have changed.
If we are talking about comments that are 'not constructive' I feel your comment falls into that category.

I disagree. I pointed out areas which I feel could be improved and suggested ways to improve them. 'Not constructive' would be simply saying "this needs a tad more work" and nothing else.

thats not really helpful and the artist could take it as plain rudeness
becuase they we're propably aiming for it to be special with the
fading of the white pixels and you just told them it looked bad
i still don't find it constructive :\

To be fair, when I saw the deviation 18 months ago the fading out wasn't noticeable. It looked solid white inside the entire of the bubble - hence my comment about it being cut off rather than fading out. It may have been there and I didn't spot it against the background (it is hardly noticeable against a light coloured bg), or he may have updated it. Hard to tell when this feedback was 18 months out of date.
Equally, I pointed out why I felt the shape was odd, then suggested how he could improve the shape to make it look more like 'speech bubble' like. I see that as feedback (though I agree I could have sugar coated it more) and not just rude bashing of the deviation.
