wanted to get some nyme out there that people could have their own twist on!These nymes are in their child stage, as they have no crowns yet.
Owners can age them up as much as they want and choose whatever outfit and crown design they want
though these are all born in middle class, so half sized crowns only~

I saw one of your WIPs before and you said there was a male nympha so- I wondered if, since the owners of the babs can age them up etc., can the owner also make their bab a male nympha?

yes! owners have freedom to choose the gender of their nyme, you can also change the age too!

I think the whole universe is so interesting hnnn-
Especially the housing and gender roles * ^ *
In the Nympha universe males do have a subdued role as you said [and as I saw from your own male Nyme ////]
but since the Nyme bab adoptables say they're middle class royals-
is that status acceptable for a male as well?
I really want to follow the conditions you thought of for your universe concerning the male Nymes so I'm sorry for asking a lot of questions OTL

Like- are there any specific occupations?
I saw that your Jasper is a slave for example, so I was wondering how the whole occupation system works and which jobs are acceptable for which gender q v q

ah as for the jobs im not too sure;;
I guess its more common for dweller to lower class nymes to take jobs related to aiding goddesses/more taxing jobs and I suppose there are other jobs such as working on crops and collecting things for houses. Possibly middle to high class nymes have leading jobs ^q^ though all royal nymes can have jobs related to goddesses.
As for genders I would say its more common for females to take higher up/leading jobs, where as if a male took a leading job they would be much older?

and now one pretty essential thing that I kinda always wondered about even before owning a Nympha-
how exactly do you picture the goddesses and the worshipping of them?
Since right now there aren't many goddesses around I couldn't look for examples but I've simply been thinking how exactly the goddesses act and what kind of roles they have for their houses?
Of course I understand they are the sacred object of worship but how exactly does it all work- does each goddess have her own values in her 'religion'?
Like personal attributes and things specific to her that the house holds very dear in their everyday lives and things they strive to accomplish or acquire?
Also if we don't have an existing goddess we worship is it okay to explain the house and goddess in our Nympha's story and go ahead and make them up?

goddesses I suppose are similar to greek gods in a way? Each one of them could sort of represent something to the houses such as their safety, strength, or wealth etc. The houses treat them as if they are the highest of rank, so it is important to them to understand what is acceptable to the individual goddess. Depending on their beleifs, members of houses could imitate a selected goddess for good luck.
I'd think in terms of woreshipping goddesses would be similar to japanese offerings, they sit in a temple and members of houses walk up and present an offering. It could be something like physical gifts or food? There could also be festival days where the goddesses come out of temples to walk through houses to bless them etc.
There are goddesses who merely act as a symbol for the houses and accept offerings (maybe do rituals or spiritual dances to bless the house if the offerings are acceptable?) And others of higher rank who sort of watch over houses and keep the peace. (though they are kind of... distant? They dont go in and make new rules )
Goddesses themselves are often very old (though their appearance does not show this) and are very introverted, younger goddesses would be brought up only within their own temple walls to sort of keep them "pure". There are multiple lineages of Goddesses whom houses worship and take care of. Godesses only breed between different lineages of goddesses through agreements between higher ranked goddesses, im guessing new born goddesses are pretty rare though.
As for their personalities most were probably taught not to speak or remove personal input to follow what their elders have taught them. They are supposed to look sort of ethereal and with the bigger picture of things? I guess???

For making your own house thats ok! I give owners of nymes free range to create their own houses/making relations with other existing nymes!
As for creating a goddess to your house, its ok as long as you keep them sort of unofficial? Unless you already own your own goddess design, I would prefer you not create a physical design (due to nympha being a closed species). Though describing is fine!
