Why do they not listen,To my cries of pain and death?
My voice penetrates the walls,
And echoes through the halls.
Yet still,
They do not come.
Instead they let my body
Grow weak and thin.
The hunger weakens me,
Thirst begins to consume my parched lips
Escape is the only thing worth living for
But even that seems impossible
So I die here
Forgotten.....

Yeah, I wrote that during my middle school years I think. Probably in 8th grade when everything was pretty bad. It's got that (what's the word?) ominous (is that right?) feel to it. I'm not sure how to explain it. But thanks!!

You know I'm not really sure. It's just a lot of bad things happened that year (Melissa was going through a very strange period and that was also when she left Richard) and I was, I guess, sort of deppressed.

Sometimes, blocking it out is better that way. Sometimes, ignorance IS bliss. Sometimes, it isn't, but sometimes, it is. :/

Yeah, me too. Ever since I got into highschool, I'm a lot happier. I think it's because I'm surrounded by people that share the same feelings and ideas that I have. It's hard to explain, but I don't want to lament on the bad times in my life. I want to look at the happy memories and the strange things I've experienced (XD).
