over the sides,
Scalding the very
Existence of all
Normality,
Wasting away its
Potency with acidic
Strength
And poisoning
Innocent souls

Complete and utter

Hmm.... Even ignoring any meaning, the wording gives such an atmosphere that it changes emotions. The imagery given by the atmosphere is vivid - for me it was just a big black kettle boiling over - and fits the title very well because it appeals to the senses in such an abstract, changeable way. Very very good...

Weirdly, I got a mental image of a woman running down a corridor with windows, the curtains blowing...like running away from something, before something happens.
