Description
Time is a curious befuddlementslipping through our fingers at times
and escaping our minds at others,
whispering anxieties in hollow heads
full of roaring complications that
pop up like deer flinging themselves
into the street before the whizzing cars
can stomp on the breaks and
screech to a halt...
And yet, time has a gentle nature
as it guides distant changes towards us,
flowing lazily onward at a constant pace
and rocking us to sleep like a
mother sways to and fro with her infant
in her arms,
protecting and soothing worries
with simple songs and soft strides...
Let time glide onward, fearless leader that it is,
revealing its purpose in due course and
trust time to transform tragedies,
and warn us of the rocks ahead...

When i read this i get a sense of the feeling that time is an unstoppable irreversible fact that we cant deny or change.

It really does, but at least I didn't really have anything else to do. I was mostly just sitting around waiting for my laundry to dry.
