Description Within my timid hands
There lies a crystal ball
To all the earth's lands,
I show them all.
Like an explosion of traumatory heat, it glows
It feeds on their festered fear.
Their vast excitement grows,
All of them so close and so near.
Petrified praise goes up in smoke
Everyone in a daze
All they can do is hope.
They tremble with fear in this darkened maze
While a black massive beast rises in the sky
To take back the crystal ball, that once was mine.

This is good I like how the person loses the ball in the end. It's an interesting twist. This reminds me of Macbeth.

Thanks!!!!! I actually entered it into a contest once to get it published in a book and it got published. The only problem was, I had to buy the book to see it. And it was like...over $50, so I didn't bother getting it.

And we all know the only reason why anyone would buy it is to see your own stuff in there I probably wouldn't read it otherwise!

Well, I would look through it just to see what else was in it. But otherwise, I wouldn't look through it. And it would probably just sit on the self, collecting dust too.
