Description
A strange phenomena thatproduces blood-boiling clarity:
something once taken for
granted (like tiny knick-knacks
collecting dust on the shelf)
is whisked away
and the heart and mind
yearn for it with the
cold fires of revenge
clutched in talons like
freshly sharpened cutlery,
awaiting the day when
stolen treasures are restored.
None can escape,
slithering away like some
cowardly slug:
its iridescent trail
a dead give-away to the
plague of jealousy;
it pursues the strong and weak
and devours the heart,
beating wildly in its cage,
with scalding malice;
the mind twists and
contorts, becomes the
coiled cobra
steeping in a rotting skull
as it waits for the day
it will strike its victim:
the competitor who tread
on that slithery hide.

There's great imagery in this. And emotion, too. I tthought it was very interetsing.
