In the silence of the night,I lie still as I look to the sky
The brilliant radiance illuminates my face,
And the moon is full and bright
As they dace together in their haven up above,
I marvel at their grace
And wish I were one of them
They shimmer and twinkle,
Gently fading in and out of sight,
As they whisper soft secrets to each other
In the tranquility of the night,
I slip into a deep sleep
And leave the moon and stars
To watch over me....
