Of unconsciousness
Wash over me,
Bury me deep
In the watery depths
Of subconscious thought,
And keep me sedate
While I rejuvenate
My soul

Let the cold
Dark liquid
Drag me down,
Further down into a
Vast, cavernous abyss
Where light is only
A faint glow
That grows darker,
Until it is no more

Let the earth
Of the oceans
Lie soft and still
Beneath me,
So I may rest
Among slowly billowing
Tendrils of green
In the proud
Kingdom of coral

Let me drowse
In that untouched glory,
From now
Through eternity...

When i see this, I imagine a speaker with her toes crunching the soft sand at the edge of a beach's sunset. She has a massive longing and passionate soul that only the depths of the ocean could possibly understand.
