Description
At peaceIn her underwater refuge,
She sleeps for eternity
There are no more battles for her to win
She is a home for many things,
Coral, fish, crustations of all sorts,
All of which take comfort in her being there
A majestic beauty
Who conquered the sea,
Now rests below its surface
Carved of wood and gold,
With tattered sails
That drift in the gentle current
Of the ocean
Yes,
She is the queen of the sea....

I can see a very clear picture in my head. :> I like how you have stanzas and then a random line, I think it adds a lot of style without being obnoxious. :> I like the subject, too!

Thanks!! I love writing about the sea and the things in it.
I know what you mean about some things where there's just one line after a stanza when it doesn't really need to be by itself. I try to make them fit where I find they're neccessary. And I don't like to brag or anything, but I do have a knack for doing that kind of stuff. Someone also said to me that they loved how I can write a poem and have maybe a few lines in it that rhyme, but then the rest of it doesn't and there's still that natural flow to it.

You're not bragging when you know it's one of your better works. :>
I like it!
