Description Mid-day:
    Trapped in by tangled trees;
         Water that reeks of delicious sewage;
   Rocks,
Slick with slimy, green moss.

They run:
    Unsure feet beneath a
         Shaking mass of wobbly appendages.
   Vic
And Kenny jeer and jest

At the
    Poor display of athletes,
          Slipping…plunging into rusty waters.
   “Yikes!
There goes another one!”

They tried:
    But charging across oiled,
         Sinkers and floaters with no balance at
   All
Is a good way to fall

Flat on
    Some tender flesh that just
         Hurts to see; the pain rips through electri-
   cal
Circuits, right to the brain,

And off
    Goes another one to
         Skip and hop, hovering over the rocks
   On-
ly to end up down for

The count,
    Face down, kissing the rock
         His face meshed with. "And that’s all for sinkers
   And
Floaters on MXC!"

I think he liked it....I have to revise it though. When we review them, the whole class pitches in ideas and what they thought of it. So it can get a little muddled.... What did you think?

Yeah, we had to use syllabic or alliterative meter...I figured syllabic would work better for it. It's not the best thing I've ever written, but it's got some funny bits in it I would think. I think it sounds better when I read it out loud...

Haven't you heard of MXC? It's that strange Japanese tv show that comes on late at night....I can't remember what channel, but the contestants on it do some really stupid stuff....the hosts are Vic and Kenny. They have a website, actually. If you type in MXC on Google, you should be able to find it!
