Description
Staring off into spaceWith no concentration
In this busy place
As the cold of winter
Stings my face,
Somewhere way out
In the distance
Of an ever-changing
Landscape
Where dreams are
Reality
And anything is
Possible
As a faint wind
Blows everything away,
Like tracks in the
Desert sand
Turned into a
Vast expanse of
Never-ending lines
On dunes that reach
The sky
And then reality
Snaps back into place
As a burning bit
Of kindle wood
Pops and crackles
In the dancing flames
That devour the last
Remnants of life
I stare into those flames
On a cold, dark night...

It reminds me a bit of The Golden Compass (I only saw the movie so far though.)
I also that you love when you tell us where you wrote your stuff...I like it. x)

I haven't seen it (or read it for that matter). Was it a good movie? Thanks!!
Well, I think it gives the reader a better idea of why I wrote it or perhaps a better idea of the particular feeling of the poem. I'm glad you like it!!
