Description Through the misty fog
Of time
Do I see
The pale blue swirls
Of future that
Lie before me,
Green streaks of
Present time
Flash past my eyes
And become the
Faint golden-red
Glimmer of past
Far off in the
Distance

What will be
In the times to come
Shall only be a
Memory in the eons
Of age;
Lines blur and
Fate is the only
Unknown,
Dwelling within
Trap doors
Awaiting the next victim
To come

I am the oracle,
I speak with the wind;
It whispers gently
In my ear
Of the ever-aging past,
The strangely hidden
Present,
And the fast
Approaching future,
Of lives thrown
Violently on the path
Towards destiny...

Very dream-like; it reminds me of the oracle in 300. If you had to write words to put to that scene, this would be it.

Thanks! It's funny that you should mention that, because when I wrote it and then read through it, that's what I thought of too!!

The second stanza "lines..." is tattooed to my mind. Splendid!

That's very beautiful! I like your use of color as imagery
