Description
This tree was located behind and sort of diagonal to my house! One morning, my parents and I were sitting around the dining room table when we heard a soft sort of "shwoomp!" sound. It was raining steadily and there really wasn't a lot of wind (the remnants of a tropical storm actually), so we thought it was just the garbage cans falling over.....well, turns out it wasn't the garbage cans! It was this big dead tree that came crashing down into our pool! It took out the shed, the diving board, and some nearby plants (it missed our roses and the table and chairs we have out there though! ) along the way. The tree has since been removed, but we still have a squashed shed and a broken diving board. I, myself, find it a little comical; so does my mom. The insurance is paying for the damages, so there's no worries there! We were just glad no one was in the pool when it came down! Enjoy!
