Without guilt or shame felt
From the harm it has inflicted

The weeping of a child,
An orphan
Who's young life of
Happiness has abruptly ended,
Echoes through hospital corridors
For a lost mother's love

Gushing streams
Pour out of
Irritated eyes
As one more soul
Is lost to us,
The heartrenching stories
Of victims past
Haunt us with tattered hope

Can you hear the
Weeping children,
Crying out for
Their mothers,
Their fathers?
Can you hear the
Parents' mournful cries
For their children?

Can you hear the
World grieve
For the souls
Struggling
Fighting
Trying to
Stay alive?

The very ground
Shakes
With the whole world
In pain,
It cries out for help,
Let us hope it is
Not in vain

We must believe
There is still hope
To conquer over
Hardships,
Believe an end
To all the suffering
Is in sight
