I was MASSIVELY excited when I found out a Tintin movie was being made because those books are a huge part of my childhood; I grew up reading the comics and I still do now. I love the characters and the world they live in, and today I finally went to see it with my friends.

And

it's

good.

REALLY good.

Even though it was motion capture (which I kind of dislike a lot) AND in 3D, it still looked wonderfully good. The 3D was nicely done, though it would look perfectly fine without it too. The only complaint I would make would be that the Captain's head was a bit big, but really, it was practically flawless. And there's gonna be a sequel, too! I can't believe I even had doubts about seeing it. (smacks self)

And I do believe that this is my first fanart for Tintin ever. Which is odd, because Tintin's wonderful. Though I have to say Captain Haddock is my absolute favourite.

Now blistering barnacles, go watch the movie!
