I have a question. On paint tool sai do you use a vector/linework layer or normal layer. Plz tell, my line art is really bad and it's really hard to do. I just don't understnad the lineart part.

I usually go for normal layer when linearting, because I prefer using brush with reduced opacity.
But that is a matter of preference so You may want to try other tools until finding something more comfortable for You. Finding a suitable technique is done by try on errors.
