Personally, I gave up on the logic in these games when I saw Sora's hair :/

Well saying it's a video game, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE 100% REALISTIC! In the world of storytelling and animation(which gee, is in video games), you can do whatever the hell you want as long as the story and the *cough* logic of the Universe the story is in makes sense.
If you're just joking, then okay I'll laugh with ya. If not, then yeah...

My boyfriend just recently beat the first Kingdom Hearts and he says he is so lost. I'm a huge fan of the game(like huge enough to own a Sora costume and keyblade) and I understand the concept pretty well. It's not really all that confusing once you beat the majority of the games in the series, mainly the first and second games.

Okay, then what about Sephiroth's Super-friggin-Nova? Four minutes of freakin animation, blowing up the 9 planets, sending a giant fireball towards Cloud and co, and they...
MANAGE TO SURVIVE.
And then, Mr.Flower Petals can somehow make flowers shoot out laser beams.
Forget that. You need a card. To open a door. You need a card. To fight an enemy. You need a card. To heal.
You probably need a card to take a crap as well.
KINGDOM HEARTS AND FINAL FANTASY HAVE NO FREAKIN LOGIC, YET I LOVE THEM SO.
