Aery Name: Skrekrill
Character Name: Breccaugh. Or just Brecca for those who do not wish to sound as if they are speaking while gargling a throatfull of walnuts.
Character Species Combination: Andean Condor (Vultur gryphus) / Barbary Lion (Panthera leo leo)
Rank: Young Gryphon
Gender: Male
Character Personality: Loyal perhaps to the point of completely indoctrinated, but level headed and generally even tempered. He despises Grandesque with a seething disgust, often muttering and ranting vague propaganda about their supposed failings with vigorous zeal. Most Twistoult he considers somewhere along the lines of borderline insane, else they are sniveling Grandesque sympathizers who should be dealt with! He would never lift a claw against another Skrekrill unless attacked or ordered by a superior- Rank and discipline are very important virtues to him, a notion instilled into him at a young age by his Nachtbrag father. He's fairly strategically intelligent, but personal topics and issues are completely lost on him. He's not the most acute social butterfly.
He's fairly stringent on himself, hating the idea of being even moderately extravagant when others may be worse off. Usually he's the sort of linger back at any communal meal until everyone else has had their fill (And heck, he actually likes those wobbly, gristly green bits no-one else will seem to eat, so why not!)
Description: At the large end of the scale for gryphons, Brecca is weighty and strong but slower and less agile than others. His large wings are built for gliding, not aerodynamics- He can glide and glide and glide all day, but fast turns, speedy flying or quick takeoffs are largely beyond him! A touch more maneuverable on the ground, the bulk of his wings still tends to get in the way a little. But if he does hit something, it probably hurts! He is fairly deep chested under the mane to accommodate a keel, and has an overall stocky, muscular build.
Also, wrinkled little hairless kitty ears, d'aaawgh!
His Juvenile Form is slightly smaller in size, with a lighter, stragglier mane and a uniformly grubby grey-brown all over.
History: The singular offspring of a Nachtbrag father (Condor/Cougar) and an Oisean mother (Gryphon Vulture/Barbary Lion). It was his father that taught him most of his militant doctrines. After fledgling, he was known to hang around with a pair of young Truas gryphons, though was never closely associated with the gang. He seemed keen to serve his aerie, departing his parent's nest and seeking independence to grow as soon as he was able to scavenge and hunt for himself.
