Master Benjamin Turtle
-16 yrs old.
-He is an orphan and together with his grandfather, he is in a family of two. They are no longer living together however. His benefactor is now Mr. Hatter [link]
-Aside from being familiar with the basics of tranquil magic and potions, a brilliant pianist and singer, Benjamin has no other talents to speak of. His knowledge of magical arts are not for offensive/defensive purposes. He is abnormally shy, naive and holds little self-worth for himself. Strange enough he was able to make friends with Victor [link] , the Gryphon who guards Mr. Hatter's labs, whose character is his total opposite.
-He was born an ordinary turtle until a spell backfired unto him. It was an accident that led him to be deformed permanently, leaving him with calf body parts. He was bullied a whole lot in his undersea society, being the main cause of his low self-esteem and fear of crowds. He moved to the surface world to further his studies in her majesty's [link] castle under the watch of Mr. Hatter, who wishes to help undo the transformation.
-From his time living at the Queen's castle, he felt a little more secure and at peace as he is always treated kindly. He is requested by the Queen for special performances to entertain her, and maybe a guest or two. At first he lived in almost isolation. In the castle, he kept to the parts rarely used by the maids and butlers or just lock himself in the labs, alone. He would always elude the public as much as possible until finally he was introduced to Ellis, who now tries to bring out the best in him and slowly bring him from out of his shell.

Edit = Turtle and Tortoise Animali are able to detach their shells from their bodies as if they were clothing. But when they wear them, they are a part of their body as much as the other parts and grow with age. With this, they are able to change their clothes underneath.
