so a good few people have been asking for a tutorial thingy.so yeah, whipped one up quickly
this pic isn't brill, more of a speed paint so yeah, i would do a bit more but this is effectively the basics
hoped its helped anyone who wanted to see it

Well I was thinking of several things to do... But I don't really know. I hesitate on WHO will I draw ^^' But I'll definitely try!

In fact, there is one thing ^^ do you know what kind of settings I could use on PS CS5 for the same effect? Because I don't have SAI. I mean, I have it but the software I used for opening it on my mac was on 'try', so I can't use it any more :/

ohhh jesus, i have no idea :/ ive never had cs5, maybe look for like a blur effect or something? the deep effect just darkens the colour and uses the base colour as like, a base effectively... so maybe look for something that does that? sorry i cant be of more help

Well there is no tool for it specifically... When I do shades I just use a basic brush with a low 'hardness' (I don't know how to call it but it's the equivalent of the french word), but I have to select all colors by myself and do it step by step for a deep shadow. I don't know if you understand what I mean ^^
Anyway I'll try even without SAI maybe even now...
