I have a hard time imagining that Jackson would be surprised by anything. Not even this. A Lightbody from my most recent story, Darkness Laced with Light.This is for for our art trade~!
I drew it last night and it came out a lot better than I'd planned.However, the bricks. I drew and shaded the bricks in that wall individually. That was probably the most tedious thing I've done in my artistic career. After I finished, I swore I wasn't going to do it again. But it came out so well I wouldn't be surprised if I did do it again.
I am really happy with how this came out, though. I really love the shading. I took my time, and I think that did wonders for this piece. And I actually have a background for once! Yay!

I was thinking about writing something in the comments about him being slightly surprised at the nature of the beast, but it all just seemed so wildly OOC. He's never surprised by anything. Not even a little. >w>

xD I think the closest he gets to surprised is irritated. "Oh. This thing is different from anything else I've had to deal with. Fine I guess I'll figure out how to get rid of it..." *grumblegrumbleangrysigh*
That reminds me that I forgot to mention in the note that one of the other ideas was going to be a sort of rewrite sort of prequel to Ouroboros. (The only change from Ouroboros was that I wanted Simon and Jackson to know each other a bit before they do in Ouroboros because in all the other stuff I have with them they're all like they've been dealing with each other for a while.) Most of it was going to deal with younger Jackie and that part that started out as a throwaway line/paragraph that ended up spawning a new character.

That's interesting. I would like to see that, but like I said in the note, I'd go with whatever idea's screaming the loudest.
