I found old art!!In 9th Grade World History we studied the French Revolution... and the Reign of Terror. I no longer remember the exact assignment, but I think it was something along the lines of 'illustrate one aspect and then write a paragraph explaining it.'
My teacher didn't quite get my comic, and I remember I wasn't happy with it at the time, either. With the paragraph (still attached!) it makes a bit more sense. Excerpted:
"The slightest thing could condemn a person and they would then be whisked off to a swift and unjust trial after which they would be executed publicly by guillotine."
Starring Monsieur Round, Monsieur Pointe, and two COPS with no noses whatsoever.
The grade has been lost to time.

I did a comic once about my playing DDR for creative writing.
True story.... I'd reversed the steps into mirror mode so I could do a knee slam on the song dynamite rave.
Idid a knee slam.. And I slipped, and nearly pelted my face into the tv.
