I found really old art! Circa 2000.In 8th grade we read Animal Farm, and my friend and I took an assignment to illustrate 10-12 key scenes of the book. I drew, and my friend did the wording (because my handwriting has always been awful--my mother used to threaten me with lessons). My teacher's comments are next to most of our headings cuz apparently we were supposed to explain things as well as label them. Chya. We got 23/25 for this.
1. Old Major's Dream.
2. The Rebellion with Mr. Jones, featuring a hammer & sickle made of animal bones. Yeah, I always loved that.
3. The 7 Commandments.
4. The Battle of the Cowshed.
5. Snowball is Exiled. See why I love these piggies? ...that's lightning, btw.
6. The windmill is built. (Teacher was right. I don't know why that's important anymore. I have to reread this book.)
7. Fredrick blows up the windmill. HEEHEE Stickman with TNT!
8. Alternations of the commandments begin.
9. Boxer is taken away to be slaughtered!!
10. Pig to Man --> Man to Pig. Tell me that isn't the most diabolical little piggie ever?
I still love these piggies.

We went over it so many damn times I could still summarize that book five years from now

It's a good book, but sometimes they spend so much time on it, you lose sight of the real importance.
Or maybe it really is just piggies.

The art doesn't look great and your teacher seemed to have some serious questions about it "why, explain, explain, why, purpose, explain, why, why?"
