Well, I said I would do it, and I did. I carved a Sailor Moon Jack O'Lantern. The finished product will be uploaded later, just to prove that I really, really DID carve a Sailor Moon pumpkin.Here, for your veggie-lovin' pleasure, is the pattern, made by myself. (As far as I know, no one else has made a template for Sailor Moon on a pumpkin.) I began with a few sketch ideas (EVENTUALLY to go in my Scraps if I ever see a flatbed again) but- since I don't have a flatbed and thus no way to scan said sketches- I found an image from the opener of season one (the same pic as the first US Sailor Moon album) and traced it.
Tips for carving: Start with the stuff in the middle first- torso (bow), and face. Be really clear with those now because you don't want to have to go back later. Be really careful not to overlap places that will create new holes. That's what the lines are for. Widen lines as needed.
I use the Pumpkin Masters kit and it really, really is worth it.
