Wow, Thor, I know the checkout machine can be right jerk, but did you really need to blow it up (or smash it, either way it looks totally destroyed)? A bit too much "reason" there, buddy. And Loki...yeah, he'd totally do this. It must make shopping a hassle if this is what you have to do every time, though....so yep, wanting to smash the machine too is pretty natural, actually.
On the other hand, I feel bad for that cashier, he clearly doesn't want to get involved with something this nuts so early in the day and has the most logical expression: one of abject mystification and "Oh crap, my boss is gonna kill me.".
