Ori knits everyone scarves based on their sexual orientation and then this happens.Part of a larger comic I wrote that covers more characters. Bard, Thranduil, Bilbo, Thorin, Fili, Kili, Tauriel, Ori, Balin, Dwalin and Nori, who is stealing them for his scarf hoard. I might just finish it and post it some day, but we'll see how this goes.

It probably reflects badly (or at least worryingly) on me that I can hear Thranduil saying "Of course not, but fortunately that's exactly how scarves work." He's using his Supremely Patronizing Voice. You know the one. The incredibly smug and superior one that carefully explains obvious things to idiots (i.e. everyone else) and that makes you want to throw a rainbow snowcone at his head, in the sure and certain knowledge that it would be impossible to miss such an inflated target, and even if you did miss, the effect would still be fabulous.
Or maybe that's just me.
