This piece is absolutely amazing! First of all, I still enjoy the idea of a bat-pegasus as an OC. A half-pony would be an interesting idea to have in the real show. The falconer glove also makes for an interesting design, especially with the falcon posing on it. Furthermore, the facial expressions fit the idea of the two of them posing for a picture (a selfie, perhaps?) and I just think the falcon winking is adorable. What really steals the show, however, is the vision. This piece is a great display of fun and enjoyment, and displays not only a passion for gorgeous, complex and deep works of art, but something simple as well. It shows that art can be just expression of one's emotions, even by the most simplistic inspirations.

I've always liked the idea of bat ponies; they give Equestria a bit of a dark charm while still being living proof that a dark design doesn't always have a dark heart. I'm a little disappointed that there aren't many appearances of them in the show.

The hair style and color contrast wins this one over for me. I'm a sucker for primairy darker colors mixed well with brighter colors. Deffenetly a win in my book.
