Description
Drawn mostly from imagination, sometimes used ref to check anatomy. Not best, but at least I practiced. Tried to add little shadows as friend suggested.Bottom left my fav.
Do you have any tips to draw poses more easily or in action?

human anatomy is complicated and hard to draw DD: yet you've done really great work with these!

Yes, it is. Even harder, if you want to draw different body types.
Thank you

Would you mind any if some budding artists I knew could use these to practice and get better?

I wouldn't. Don't forget to tell them to practice with real life/photos. These just could help as style reference.

Hmm, the one at the top left; her boob just doesn't look like it's in the right position (I'm a girl so I should know). I think it should be closer to the arm = move a bit more to the right. Boobs don't just sit still in one place. Depending on in which position the arms are, the position where the boobs are might change since they might be "pulled" by the arm.
As for action poses, maybe you could watch some action movies? Like Die hard, X-men, Sucker Punch, James Bond. Also, dance movies are great for finding good poses to draw, since they tend to use less stunt men, and all the poses they strike are (in) real (life) = automatically anatomically correct. I can recommend the Step up series: Step up, Step up 2, Step up 3D and Step up 4. They got some awesome moves going on! (Plus, the music is good).
It shouldn't matter all that much which gender the main character has, girls and boys can take the same poses and do things the same way. The only time it matters which gender they have is if you're looking at how to place/draw the chest or crotch. That's the only real difference as far as I know. So when you draw poses,Β

Big thanks Β , especially for idea with movies. I'll test it soon. Glad you noticed that "boob problem", I think it might also be too high.

Oh, and as to drawing female characters or for boob positioning, I think it might be interesting for you to checkΒ boobsdontworkthatway.tumblr.coβ¦ , eschergirls.tumblr.com/ ,Β Β bikiniarmorbattledamage.tumblrβ¦ andΒ repair-her-armor.tumblr.com/ . Also, you can find good examples of practical armour for both genders and poses while wearing armour on bikiniarmorbattledamage's blog.Β
Be careful not to fall into those "traps" of t&a poses or unpractical bikini armour (and all the other types which protects everything EXCEPT HEART, LUNGS AND GUT) just because it might look "cool", "hot" or just because so many other artists do it. Many of us girls feel uncomfortable and/or offended by those things. It's sad that those kind of things still can be found in a lot of video games and comic book.
Don't do it like they do, be original~!^^ One day, artists may very well look up to YOU and YOUR WORKS( if they don't do it already, which they should).

I understand, that female characters are often drawn with unpractical costume designs, or just for males pleasure. It goes for characters with overly big boobs too, which I guess don't help during fight or can even be a hurt for spine... Also using often high heels, so how they are supposed to run and swing with sword?
I must draw my two friends as warrior and mage. I couldn't find yesterday any interesting references. All of them were in pin-up poses or close too. The designs also were repetitive... I think they don't want too see themselves in such concepts. Warrior should be warrior...
Thanks, I'll try my best.

Will do! I think it's easier to understand muscles/proportion than being able to just draw correctly in perspective.

Thanks! It's hard to draw characters in standing poses, so they not look boring or same everytime.
