Description
Alien strands from BBC's spin off show 'Class'. The base of the strands where sculpted in wet clay, moulded in Transil and cast in Platgel 25. The main root of each strand was fabricated to the performers clothing as well as being connected to a harness under their wardrobe. We used garden hose connectors for the strands to allow for each strand to be easily disconnected and reconnected to the actors back.
All work was done for Millennium FX. Artists involved include myself, Graham Burn, Freya Hargreaves and Michael Rosati.
