Normally this time of year.. they are in shock.. due to the heat and lack of rain.. but our summer has been quite unusal..

i think summers have been a tad unusual everywhere 
glad your roses are doing great though! here, i assume its the humidity from the sea, but the roses get a fungus on their leaves so fast its kinda not nice... the flowers still look good, but the leaves look sooo ugly.
