Britt: It's been awhile so I thought why the hell not? I'm supposed to be working on school stuff, but instead I'm not. Be ashamed of me people.
Anyway, there's a lot of Pokemon shipping's I dislike, but this meme can only hold 5. So here's the 5 I decided to choose:
Advanceshipping, Penguinshipping, Pokeshipping, Ikarishipping, and Amourshipping.

I have nothing against anyone who ships any of these, I just personally do not and I hope you can all respect that.

I suppose I'll explain why I don't care for these particular ships now. *Ahem*

5. Ash x May (Advanceshipping): Now, don't get me wrong, I liked May. But me liking her or disliking her has nothing to do with my shipping preferences. I (personally) don't think Ash and May were that close. I remember Ash sharing a ribbon with her and in the Manaphy movie I remember him risking his life for her, but that was about all the "shipping hints" I could possibly remember for these 2. And for that second thing, Ash would've risked his life for any one of his friends, so I think that hardly counts. Even without taking into account that I ship May with Drew and think they actually liked EACH OTHER, I just feel like Ash was more like a teacher/mentor to May, and that's about as far as their relationship went for me. Ash didn't even attend all of May's contests (at least, he didn't sit through them all. He'd catch them in the middle or something since he was off training for a gym battle instead.) I dunno. I just don't see this one that much.

4. Dawn x Kenny (Penguinshipping): I honestly thought this was just another one of those childhood crushes tropes, and I wasn't too big a fan of it. People will say that Dawn has shown she likes Kenny the same way he likes her, but I (personally) remember her friend-zoning him ultra hard. He seemed to always be trying to impress her, and she seemed to shrug off his advances. I remember when Kenny said that he'd battle Ash, and if he won the battle he'd want Dawn to travel with him from then on. First off, I don't think he should get to decide who she travels with, but that's beside the point. I don't remember who won the battle (Ash or Kenny) but either way, Dawn chose to stay with Ash. I dunno, I just consider this another one-sided crush and some people think she owes Kenny or something so she SHOULD like him back. But that's just me.

3. Ash x Misty (Pokeshipping): I've talked about this pairing before, but I think I'll explain why I dislike it once more. Again, my feelings towards one of the people involved in the ship has nothing to do with anything, since even though I dislike Misty, I still ship her with some one. No, the reason I dislike this pairing is because it's borderline abuse and these 2 hardly EVER got along. Sure, you could say they acted like an old married couple, but their constant bickering and Misty's constant hitting and smack talking Ash didn't scream "WE'RE IN LOVE" to me in the slightest. 2. Dawn x Paul (Ikarishipping): I will never for the life of me understand this pairing. I just...I can't even comprehend it! My mind goes blank whenever trying to figure out why on earth anyone would ship Dawn with Paul. Dawn is a sweetheart. She's kind, but she has a temper, and wouldn't put up with anyone's snarky attitude. Paul is an asshole who can't even bother to remember Dawn's name, and she was actually willing to beat him up because of that! Sure, opposites can attract sometimes, but this? I just...can't see it. They're TOO different. They gotta have at least ONE thing in common. I see nothing but hatred between these 2. If they ended up together, the relationship would probably be more abusive than Pokeshipping! I just cannot get behind this pairing. It's impossible for me.

Ash x Serena (Amourshipping): I've talked about this pairing before, too. So I'll try to be brief. I'll just never understand the people who say this ship is canon on both ends and that Ash has returned Serena's feelings, when he (in fact) has not. Considering both Ash AND Serena are 10 years old, her crush on him should be something she'll eventually get over and move on from, since she's at an age where she THINKS she's in love, but she (in fact) is not. But of course, she's held onto these feelings for about 5 years and that is. not. HEALTHY. She's still a CHILD. And for her to be this obsessed with a boy who only bandaged up her knee and then never saw her again till about 5 years later, has me worried for her. Plus, I dunno where people get the notion that Ash treats her differently than his other friends, when he doesn't. If you mean different as in they hardly ever interact because Serena's too scared to talk to him and he's oblivious to her feelings the majority of the time, then yeah. Toooootally different. I don't want anyone to think that just because I ship Ash with Dawn, that that means I think that's the ONLY ship that even matters at all and that they're perfect for each other and only belong with each other or some other crap like that. No. I actually (on a few occasions) ship Ash with Lillie, and sometimes with Iris or Lana just for the fun of it. And I ship Dawn with Lucas sometimes and (if she were older) I ship her with Riley as well. Yes, Pearlshipping IS indeed my favorite ship, but I'm not one of those people that think you HAVE to agree with Pearlshipping or that Ash and Dawn should ONLY be with each other and that anyone who ships these 2 with anyone else deserves to be name called or threatened. That's NOT how I am. So please, DO NOT do that to me.

The next Pokemon related thing I do will be my thoughts on the Brock/Misty cameo in Sun/Moon when I finally get around to watching those episodes. After that, imma really gonna stop with the Pokemon. Unless something juicy happens.
