Description Fullview!!!!!

I'm truly sorry if this image is REALLY dark, but on my laptop's screen it looked just perfect. If you're wondering why it's that way, it's because of your monitor and not my lack of Dodge tool ability or lack there of. Again, sorry.

When I was down in Texas with Sarsar we went to the Botanical Gardens of Fort Worth. As I walked through the gardens, inspiration for this piece just slapped me in the face. I told her about it, and it's been quite a process, but I finally got around to doing it.

I had moments where I didn't feel like doing it at all. In fact when I started it, I had to force myself to. I'm glad I fought through those emotions though, because the final product is quite stunning, at least the concept of it is. Either way, I like it

I hope my Sarsar does too.
I love you, Moonlight. Always and Forever.

Photoshop CS, Wacom Tablet, Hours: Lost track. Maybe 6.

Hello, CBJ3!
This is beautiful place! Is it a real place or is it from your imagination?

Oh this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, just like the love you two have for each other. I love the sunlight streaming down and I think I can pick a couple of spots you pulled this from. The bridge you two stood on while I took a pic and the stream over where we fed the fish is what comes to my mind. I love it. And Zodiark14, you had me crying with that song dedication. I love Chicago and that song in particular. I used some of their songs at my wedding. So nice of you to post that.

i like the lighting effect. How did you do it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CBJ3 In reply to boiwater [2008-08-14 01:35:19 +0000 UTC]

The original version of this didn't have any lighting. It wasn't even dark. Once I was done with all of the details, I put it as a JPEG and went back into Photoshop. I duplicated the background and made that layer look like it was nighttime and then erased the parts that I wanted to look like sunlight was shining down. On my background layer I dodged the area that should be lit up, and then put in the rays of light on a separate layer. With some more minor tweaks and just playing around, this was the final product. Sorry the explanation is so lengthy Didn't mean to write a novel on you.
