this is a lot like historical gunblades. They were small flintlock pistols attached to the hilt of a blade. Perfect for a sneak attack. The blade looks quite painful.

I was gonna say the same thing. And if u ask me, the flintlock gun blade, with a little touch up (like yours does) looks better. love this pic. I had an idea similar but different to this. now that i have seen your i am detemined to see it through.

Hmm. Your drawing skills are impeccable, and i love the hilt, however if i'm being completely honest with you, i feel that this blade is all over the place. I feel no sense that any of these parts belong together and the gun is totally random. I think you can do much better =\
