Well, I think you could've made the rocks grey, for one thing. The brown makes them look more like wood or dirt? Especially with the grass on top of the one...
Which isn't a bad thing... but if you wanted it to look like rocks...
Rocks tend to have weird shapes, so you gotta try shading accordingly. I don't know what you were doing with the lines going across the rocks, but, you don't want to give rocks smooth shading. Big rocks should have wind damage, cracks, and crevasses. They have points and flat sides.. actually, I think a good thing is to try shaping a rock like a polygon. You want the sides to be uneven, and you want all sides to be flat. And try giving it many different sizes.

Obviously, not all rocks are like this, but I think it'd be a good start. You can always go look outside for rocks, too, and study them. xD

The girl came out nice~ I suggest filling in the ground with grass where she and the rocks are standing. I think it'll look nicer, and not so much like they're floating.
