This was another topic for 's Character Chronicles.This time, I've picked Lt. M'Ress from Star Trek the Animated Series by Filmation, who also produced cartoons like The Secret Lives of Waldo Kitty, which parodies cult programmes like Batman, the Lone Ranger and Star Trek, as well as regular animated series of said shows, so it all tied in rather well.
Granted she had few episodes where she was just a secondary character and fewer lines in others where she cameoed, but still those roles and lines were important.
Do you think she deserves a Chronicle?

When Alan Dean Foster did the book adaptions of the animated shows, He filled in her story some. His adaption of "The Slaver Weapon" added a whole second plot that took place back on the ship and centered on her.

Yes, I did find them on eBay. I hadn't put in the author's name into the search engine at the time.

Okay. They're all good stories- better than the classic James Blish adaptions of the TOS. Blish supposedly worked from actual shooting scripts, but changes were made that were never written down and as a result, his stories sometimes feel like an alternate universe. But these TAS stories follow the episodes exactly- and in some cases as I said above, Foster added to them.
