The thing itβs growing in, reminds me of what the pseudo-angelic creatures called βPlantsβ were growing in, in the series βTrigunβ. Weirdest damn part of that story.

Vash and Knives seem to be the only male members of their kind. The ones in the flesh bubbles are all female, and cannot leave them for whatever reason.

They also give birth to any biological thingy you need them to manufacture for terraforming. Donβt make it too big and developed, however, thatβs apparently very hard on their vaginas, not that that hypocritical prick Knives cares.
The manga is SO much weirder than the anime. The anime left out the Patrick Stewart cameo! That ticked me off.
