I like this it is bizarre, beautiful and thought provoking at the same time.
I started thinking about rock formations and how many of them are given names reflecting what they resemble . Thinking about this helped me to rationalise what I was looking at.
In a way this picture could just be a projection of the woman's imagination or even a dream of her's. (The fact she's nude might suΔ£gest she's likely dreaming)
She thinks the rocks that she's climbed onto look like the shell of a giant tortoise.Then she starts imagining/ dreaming that she's riding on the back of tortoise.
I hope you don't mind me trying to make sense of your work.
