Description
One of the biggest issues of FPR thus far! Both in length and in content presented! Join Lilac, her friends, and the leaders of the three kingdoms into the depths of Shang mu to uncover the ancient dragon armory, as well as other secrets hidden for centuries.Everything is at risk, if they do not succeed, Avalice will fall. Tensions are high, as old wounds are opened, and hard truths are learned...
The series is now in comic script format, it's easy to read and easily digestible, it also has some artwork to accompany it so that it breaks up text.
Also feedback on how to make the script series better will be appreciated! Reactions to the script are also acceptable!
Another thing, I give permission to anyone who wants to draw a specific scene from this script or other scripts of mine. If they are well done and you've informed me that you did them I'll consider adding them to the script you drew them from.
Dialogue will be highlighted with CAPS and bold.
And for the most part, all starting conversations will have a applied emotion for you to follow.
[Words enclosed within these parenthesis are motions, movements, or telling of a setting or character]
All characters belong to their respective owners except for Shaze, he is mine.

maaan... that was an intense fight between lilac and shaze and the realizing moment, honestly I was expecting to be one of the heroes that Torque mentioned but it turns out that they still don't know who it was yet, they just know that it was another dragon. anyways it still being a great script!

Glad you enjoyed it so far! Yeah no one knows who Shaze is yet, that is to be revealed later, but the truth of him being a Dragon repurposed by Brevon is something that will worry the hell out of Lilac.
Good news for you is that issue 8 is coming soon shortly. Just need to finish the artwork for it, which isn't much since I don't have a while lot of time to make too many scenes.

Nice! but at the shame time it's a shame that this script that you write and still writing isn't cannon in the Freedom planet, since this is well writed and full of action and emotion, and at the same it taught me that how the script works almost like the Genndy tartakovsky way (but he use in the script sound effects like this when he was working in Samurai jack www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2ue-m… xD) anyways keep doing what you doing and take your time, don't overwork yourself.

FPR started as a prequel to the next FP game, as at the time, nothing was announced yet. It's comic phase ended due to my workload, my "honeymoon" feeling towards Freedom Planet ending, the fanbase growing in toxicity, and more variables that just made me feel like continuing it as a comic as pointless. At first, I planned on just straight up cancelling the series, but I saw that many people wanted to see the story end, but I wasn't sure how to do that.
So I started making the comic scripts and majority of the people who stayed for the story enjoyed it, others not so much. I can understand the frustration getting one issue into a series that looks promising to only get two pages into issue 2 and discover the comic had been changed into a script series, but I had to make a decision at the time.
At some point I think during issue 3's creation, I decided to just forget about trying to be canon to FP2 and just make the story as I want it to be while maintaining the characters the way they are whilst growing in the process. If much of what I got in FPR is accurate (which I doubt) to FP2, then cool, if not, I might make an alternative FP2 script depicting the major scenes that are changed due to FPR in the event people like FPR so much they consider it part of their own head canon. If FPR and FP2 are radically different then I'll just say FPR is just an alternative timeline, and at the moment it's what it currently is as I know nothing about what we will see in FP2.
While FPR isn't canon, and if you like my writing, got good news, hoping in the future to write my own stories with my own characters for both new original comics, and possible video games as I am majoring in game design. So hopefully, you'll see my work going around in the market in the future, that or I'm just being too hopeful and dreaming too big. I'll just work on my stuff and keep going to see what happens next.
Not sure if you checked it out or not, but my other comic, the main one on this account is Sonic the Hedgehog Z. Has currently 15 issues and 3 seasons of content with it's first arc completed and it's final one in the making starting season 4 this next year. It's just got about as much as FPR has, writing is a bit lack luster in season 1, but it picks up. To sum it up the series centers around Sonic and his friends as a new threat unknown to them endangers the planet, Sonic is rendered powerless to stop this new threat until he is transported to Otherworld by mysterious people to train with a deceased warrior named Goku. From there, Sonic begins a journey to find out what he truly wants to be as he and his friends combat against foes new and old to save Mobius. If it wasn't obvious enough from title and the mention of Goku, this is a Sonic and Dragon ball crossover series.
It's my first comic posting on the internet and is considered my "training" comic in which it started as a way for me to practice my art skills and get better. So the art style changes and becomes better as each issue passes. The other reason why I made it was because I was sick and tired of seeing Sonic and Dragon Ball crossovers starting and failing, or be finished and it's just not done right, the powers are unexplained and a multitude of other problems. So I decided to make my own and show people how it's supposed to be done, or at least done in a way that not many people thought it could be done.

Yeah, that is a lot.
One thing: have you tought about moving it away from a script and continue it as a novel? That would give you a different experience (something new to draw from), and its already text.

There was a lot to take in, hence why I proposed earlier if I should split the issue into two parts. However, I suspect issue 8 will be shorter. Thoughts on this issue at all?
I have considered a novel form, and while it would look more professional and it would give me a new experience to learn from, writing in a novel format takes considerable time still. Making sure it doesn't look sloppy essentially. The script format allows me to build the story and show dialogue easier and produce the series quicker, allowing for me to give some images. The goal currently is to finish FPR at a steady rate and finish it before the end of this year, in other words, I'm trying to finish this project so I can move on to my other projects.
Depending on how FP2 goes story wise, I will likely make an alternative version of the game story in a novel form and provide images when extremely necessary, or just give a small sheet of things to consider if people would like to make Resurgence a head canon of theirs. The latter however would only be possible if FP2 coincides with FPR well enough, of course I predict it won't, we don't know much about FP2 story wise, at least the detailed bits.
After that though, I'm not gonna be touching Freedom Planet and will be effectively leaving the fanbase. FPR is my main contribution, along with tying up loose ends if need be that are caused by FP2.
