At this point it's too late to manage Artists at the Ready, but maybe I can do this.

This is Lawrence.

Lawrence ain't afraid of you.

He was born of a winter gale, and suckled the teat of icicles and lightning bolts as an infant. It was he who laid waste to the grand Bouffalant herds of Unova with his bare hands; but only because he was hungry. After Lawrence ate all the Bouffalants he could manage, he quenched his mighty thirst by squeezing the rain from a thunderstorm.

As for his pokemon.
Spitfire ♂ is his loyal Garchomp. He is fierce and strong, though somewhat scatterbrained, as he sometimes doesn't even respond to his own name.

Threx ♂ is a rowdy Tyranitar that Lawrence met on patrol on route 15. After wrestling the beast, the two became best friends.

Chiro ♀ is descended of escaped pokemon from the pokemon transfer station on Route 15. The gligars in the area have a unique mutation due to generations of allopatric speciation. But Lawrence doesn't care about that, and recruited her because she's scrappy.

Exocet ♂ a fierce captain of a pirate gang of pokemon that struck fear into the dwellers of the coast. Lawrence doesn't much care for bullies, so he taught the brigand a few manners. Now, he joins Lawrence in his quest for justice and righteousness to atone for a lifetime of misdeeds.

Extopher ♂ A mighty traveling warrior, as steady as the mountains and as fleet as the wind. Said to be the only living creature to make Lawrence cry, but not because he could inflict pain upon Lawrence, no, but because he inspired him with his awesome skills and strength.

Barbaras ♀ A stoic, ancient monolith that once lodged itself in the bed of a river, damming the flow and causing drought to those downstream. The simple farmers and villagers pleaded with Lawrence for his help, and he did not hesitate to jump into action. Dragging the metallic creature from the ravine by its vines, Lawrence suddenly found himself tangled in its thick, knotted vines. Not about to be outdone, Lawrence decided to walk home with the spiked creature attached to his back. For three days it perched upon his back like a yolk, until the fourth day when it released Lawrence out of exhaustion. Ever since that trial, it stayed with him.

Heatran ♀ A fearsome warrior from a distant land threatened Lawrence's homeland with a frightening metallic beast of fire many years ago. The struggle lasted a week, a time in which the flames of the monster burned so bright that it was said the sun never set whilst the combatants fought. Eventually the flames gave out, and the opponent was vanquished. In order to keep the destructive power of the fiery monster safely hidden, Lawrence took it upon himself to guard the beast and tame it. It also helps save a bundle on heating in the winter time.

Keep in mind, this information is all very much subject to change before the competition begins. Also, I realize Heatrans are not allowed, but Lawrence is gonna have one anyway, God dammit, he just won't use it.
