Graci for the nice comment, Trina. Back when I was 11, I could only envision such a scene in my imagination, only for the girl and her dad mentioned earlier to make it happen. Otherwise, I did caricatures of girls in class at school in such a predicament.

Nope, didn't happen...just a daydream I entertained when I was in sixth grade after seeing a girl in our neighborhood whose dad held her upside down by one foot so he could untie her shoes and toss them aside. That particular girl had on matching bloomers under her skirt so some semblance of dignity was retained.

What tools did you use, and how would you describe the sparing lineart style you opted for?Β

Adobe Illustrator. The line art style (implemented from tracing a scanned pencil of the strips) was simple 1 weight for most of the figures and 0.75 weight for things like facial features.
