HEYYOUGUYS I AM GONNA BOMB YOUR INBOXES MOARBut this time with 'real' art. And a little rant.
I don't mind if people let their l4d zombie OC's be in a relationship. It's their characters. They do whatever they want with them. I don't mind zombie pr0n either.
BUT zombies are NOT supposed to be beatiful. I've seen pretty-boy zombies that look like they aren't infected or dangerous at all, and it annoys me to no end.
I think that zombies cannot form relationships. They are driven by the most primal urge, to survive, to eat, and only that. Since zombies don't die unless they are killed or by starvation they do not need to reproduce. The only time I think zombies would have sex would be if they were bored. As you can see here. Lucas (the Smoker) wants to rape Vince, because he is bored, and Vince is vehemently protesting this intrusive Smoker upon his person. Lucas is having issues removing Vince's pants though, cause he's a zombie and can't even open doors.
Lucas will probably be entirely redesigned, and Vince still needs a proper design for his clothes. His jeans are supposed to be torn by the way. I forgot to fix that >_>
Zombies are supposed to be scary. They want to eat you, so you are supposed to fear them. But if you want to draw a clean skin, 10-year old bishie hunter that cries when his tumour-less bishie Smoker boyfriend fucks him then go right ahead. It's not like I can stop you. I just want to share my opinion.
.....and I really need to practice doing backgrounds. Vince's hoodie looks way too grey. It's supposed to be black. And no blood because I forgot that too. Dammit.

now that I've read this I need to go fix a certain female zombie. She isn't that pretty, wasn't my intention, but I forgot to ad the infection on her exposed legs. Fubar!

Hehehe. Now, We must remember the GreenFlu Zombies are more of a virus then undead. Due to the virus needing more of 'live' hosts. Mutating, spreading like a undying plague meant to wipe out the planet of any human life. The Green Flu is defiantly recognized by the boils/blister like tumors infesting the body. Some strains seem to adopt more than others... like the Original L4D Hunter seemed to lack some from what little we could see, then revealed in L4D2 it's quite obvious even the more.. 'cleaner' hunter had a blistering skin. <3
Now, if one was to really think deep about it. A side from boredom and assumed this virus did need a living host. I could see the need to reproduce. As they do-- in a form of infecting other humans which are lucky enough to survive their attacks. >_> Since This zombie virus attacks to.. kill but not exactly eat oddly enough. So... to say there was a lacking of anymore non-infected humans... Then by that chance sure, I could really see the instinct to reproduce in the form of manipulating their living hosts to give birth to a new generation to keep as the dominate species on this planet... even if it's but a simple plague of a virus.
My apologies again for the long post. .__. I get SOOO into this stuff. XD I'm weird, I know. All aside, Epic artwork. Poor hunter. BITE HIM if you can!

k it's about time i clear something up here. despite what everyone thinks NONE of the infected are dead. the makers even state this. they are infected with a virus more along the lines of rabies. except it's to a whole new level. they even said they. didn't want it to be something like silent hill or resident evil. they wanted it to be like something that was actually plausible and could actually happen so they made it a disease that MUTATED the people it infected. most of those people were like simple "zombies". mindless, people that weren't much more durable then a normal person. others were mutated beyond the others and got abilities that the others didn't such as the hunter and the witch. heightened speed, strength, durability, etc. so despite what everyone thinks every single one of the infected are still ALIVE. this is the exact words as cited in the manual "An important distinction from the former is that while the infected do resemble traditional undead zombies, they are, as cited in the game's manual, living humans infected with a rabies-like pathogen". so there ya go i just thought i'd clear that up for everyone. all the "zombies" are actually living people not the undead.

I never said that the zombies are dead. I am well aware of the fact that in Left 4 Dead, the zombies are just infected humans being and are still alive, but I like to think that this disease also reduces them to their most primal urges and rids them of the ability to feel emotions.

that does however include procreation however. which you, if i understand correctly, you said they wouldn't do. but when you call them zombies then technically you are saying that they are dead. of course this is being extremely litral, i'm just like that but alot of people are also saying oh they're dead blah blah blah etc. i agree with the emotions part like hunter x witch thing, although i gotta admit the idea is sort of cute given some of the comics i've read but i still am tryin to figure out where the hell the idea came from O.o

True, but, as I said, this is a disease, and the zombies.. kind of procreate by infecting others. I think that when the disease has spread/evolved for enough time in a zombie's body, the zombie in question will die. Of course, the details about how the infection works is up to each person, this is just what I think.

true. i guess it's all open too interpretation as so little of the virus is known that no one can really say and since they're mindless they may not know that they themselves can spread the disease by biting clawing etc. i unno. it's more to the ppl who don't get the fact that they aren't actually dead people and think that they should be like like dawn of the dead or something. but also if you think about it too you said these "zombies" can't be sexy well with this being a virus who says they can't? it simply makes them wild and animal like. since it doesn't decompose them...or most of them (spitter, jocky, and charger excluded, although spitter is due to her own acid), who's to say that their can't be a few sexy ones out their. after all Arnold Swartzeneggar got infected and he's still looking pretty damn good O.o XP

I'm sure there can be sexy zombies, I just don't like the idea, and sexy+ill is a combo that's very hard to pull off, at least in my opinion. Most I have seen are infected people acting/looking un-infected but with zombie 'attributes' :/ But hey, I'm not one to tell people what they can/can't do, I'm just stating my opinion.

I see waaaaaaay too many 'kawai bishie' zombies with (somehow?) perfectly flawless skin, no blood and giant shiny eyes.
