Finally, the 5th Installment of the 'Cynical Link' Series.I wanted to introduce a rival to Adult Link, other than Ganondorf. Because I'm lazy. I don't actually dislike you Marth, but you kinda make me wanna crack jokes about you.
With the booming Zelda industry we currently have, Fire Emblem falls slightly short of the wake that Nintendo has created with not just Zelda, but the Mario and Pokemon franchises.
So it got me thinking.
- Link is popular because he's attractive. I'm not biased at all.
- Mario is popular because he saves the day and your plumbing, so killing two birds with one mushroom.
- Ash is popular because he's a complete moron. But Pokemon is popular because the idea is awesome and ripped off in a million different ways.
Fire Emblem is decently popular because Marth is also attractive, but really, Link covers that base just fine. So he's just there to cause problems.*
*My ideas are entirely my own opinion, so try not to take me too seriously.
