Description
This is the piece I just worked on an hour ago (and it took me an hour to finish) and it features Shakra Sah Tarna the Liontaur wizard from Quest for Glory (a game series) hugging Makini the mandrill from The Lion Guard. There is a bit of a connection involved with the two respective series that I've noticed from the fifth and final game in the Guild Hall where they showed a warthog and called it Pumbaa and even said Hakuna Matata. So what better way to further the connection by doing a crossover? I've done Simba and Nala as Rakeesh and Kreesha respectively and even gave Kion a green headband like Shakra as part of a Halloween costume. Since both characters in this drawing are mystics I figured that they should get a chance to collaborate and compare notes. I used a few references for the two characters and even took some creative liberties with Shakra by giving him a robed torso. I colored his headband green; which was the only fashion statement from the fifth and final game (where he made his appearance) and made Makini's facial stripes blue. Please tell me what you think but be polite about it. Thank you.
