Final entry for Game Artisans Wrath of the Death Knight contest. Had to design our own death knight from World of Warcraft, so I went with a troll. Pretty happy with how it came out except for a few areas that were rushed, lemme know your thoughts.Full view Please

Wow, I'm lovin' the design. Especially how the shoulder and hip armor emphasize the troll's slender waist. I also like that you defined the abs. My only complaint, I suppose, would be the lack of tusks. I so love troll tusks!

Fantastic rendition of a Troll DK. I think that the weapon concept is incredible particularly when compared to what DK's get stuck carrying "End Game" I would love to see what you could imagine up with the new Troll Druids!

Out of interest, how did you know what parts of the skin would interact to what parts of the model when you were skinning it?

I just used the skin modifier in max and adjusted each vert as necessary i guess, i hate skinning in general though lol

First of all, WOOT for picking a troll, They are seriously my favorite race. Second of all OH MY FREAKING GOD THIS IS COOL!! I love the design! the spiky shoulders, the layered and detailed hip guards and the clawed gauntlets, beautiful! Love the chains in the back as well, and I am drooling over the spiky boots. This should totally be a tier set.

Haha, I went with the logic that becoming a death knight meant sacrificing something from your past life, for humans its their soul, for trolls their tusks, etc lol. Glad you like it though
