Have to give that one up to Boatwright, he's the one that drew it I just colored it in, but I agree with you about the lines. That was one of the things that caught my eye in the original B&W.

Standard ball point ink pens for the edges and details to flesh out the pencins and some of the inks and I use various types of markers for color. I've been tinkering with actual pain but still haven't got a look that I'm satisfied with. My main experiance with paint comes from painting miniatures for table top rpg gaming.

table top rpg gaming? i had played some warhammer 40.000 in the past (many many years ago) but i never id it, to color this little bastard's good enough.
it's very tricky to paint this little suckers.
did you ever tried it with digital paints?

I've tinkered around on a frineds computer that has some digital sofware for art but not with any great success. If I get a chance I will post a few pics of some of the miniatures that I have painted over the years.
