It's been a while since i've uploaded or drawn anything new, lol. and this idea was just buzzing around in the ol' noggin. i've seen more realistic comic versions of Space Ghost before, but i wondered what he would look like in Jim Lee's or David Finch's style. so, i tried to mimic it as best i could (not that i'm presuming to even come close to either of those artists, lol). anyways, more to come when i get another break. enjoy!

i didnt notice before(wich i am ashamed of)...but this is actually a copy with minor changes to make batman into space ghost from all-star batman and robin volume one episode four...you should mention its a copy dude...still pretty cool though

thought i did mention it. in my artist comments i said "i've seen more realistic comic versions of Space Ghost before, but i wondered what he would look like in Jim Lee's or David Finch's style. so, i tried to mimic it as best i could...". i thought the reference was a given, but I guess i wasn't clear enough. i'll change it. no worries. thanks for the compliment.

thanks. though i can't say that this style is completely mine. it's more Jim Lee's style of shading. right now, i can just duplicate it. still working on making it my own.

Amazing work here let say this how Space Ghost should look and think you did bit better than Finch actual artwork is sometimes it too gritty this just the perfect balance

ya think so? thanks! i'm really detailed oriented so Finch is right up my alley. i think he's just like Ed Benes. give 'em a good inker and their work is flawless. inking can make or break a piece sometimes, which could add to Finch's style seeming a little TOO gritty at times. thanks for your comment.

Finch can sometimes overdue it and use to believe there was no such thing as overdoing detail but when all you express is the tight muscle and grittiness it takes away you know

That was actually one of my ideas for a piece. But including the two side kicks so you can do your bad ass style along with the sexy style you do so well.

Even though i know which Jim Lee drawing of Batman you used for this and have it on file i have to say kudos to you for thinking of using the existing pose for reinventing Space Ghost. Two thumbs up!
