Description
this is the third of my three entries into the contest. i do plan on coloring all of them. but just in case something comes up (kinda a busy month), i figured i'd atleast submit the inked versions.i don't have any name ideas for this guy, just thought he might be a potential rival for that guy in the skull hat, and then end up teaming up with him. you know, that whole thing...
so, if anybody has any name ideas, i'd be happy to hear 'em!

nah, i didn't win. the contest was in april, i believe. and i didn't put in nearly as much effort as the winners did. oh well. thanx again.

thanx, man! appreciate the vote of confidence. i'd still enter if i were you, though. none of us honestly know what they're looking for. good linework or inking, or coloring are only parts of the equation. they said they're looking for good concepts, right? so give them good concepts, play to your strengths! thanx again

Ill at least put up some enteries for the fun of it. I dont have a good program to color with though. So thankyou I will at least try. Are you doing anymore?

probably not, i don't really agree with saturating this contest with my art. besides, part of me is kinda hoping they'll turn down the designs so's i can keep 'em for myself!

i just studied the concept art. not even really the character model sheets they added, just the promotional contest poster they first put up with the main characters. i didn't even kno they added additional material until afterwards.
anyway, i had that as reference and i also had a final fantasy 9 case and a kingdomhearts 2 booklet. i sort of let those guide me as well as the original material. i noticed they use a real specific line weight with their characters, so i just tried to mimic that as best i could with my creations.

Thats cool though. Like the way you did yours look so neat and smooth. Like just perfect. It doesnt even need to be colored but would look even better if it did. xD
