Really nice drawing. I think this is your best portrait imo maybe because there is so much contrast between the darkest and whitest part of the portrait.
Favorite part of it is how the hair and forehead kind of merge together

This artwork is beautiful and breathtaking! I love how strong the light source is, and how smooth and even these shades are. The Tattoos are also well executed, they do not just look written on last minute. The hair is beautiful, I love that you can see the light source even in the hair where most people can not accomplish that so simply, I even have difficulty sometimes! This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing it! <3

You getting better with values and shades. Very nice portrait similarity. Do you use some kind of technical tricks (like carbon paper or smthng like this)?

Thank u! I started using strathmore bristol 500 series paper its a lot smoother and it makes it easier to shade

I am not an acquaintance to paper types. What kinda paper should I use in pencil works? Shall I worry about the texture I choose?

Iv tried a couple different types. I liked the strathmore bristol 500 series plated best because of the smooth surface makes the shading better.
